NDT Technician Trainee (UAE National)

About the role

Perform Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques on components, pipework and structural assemblies to verify compliance with specifications. This full‑time trainee position is open to UAE nationals who have recently completed a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out Visual, Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, Penetrant, Radiographic and Eddy Current inspections on assigned assets.
• Ensure the work area is safe, conduct risk assessments and follow all HSSEQ procedures.
• Perform routine equipment and consumable function tests and report any issues to supervision.
• Evaluate test results against applicable specifications and produce clear inspection reports.
• Follow Oceaneering and client operating procedures, adapting to changing priorities as required.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• UAE national holding a Family Book; a valid full UAE driving licence is preferred.
• No direct supervisory responsibilities; training will follow SNT‑TC‑1A standards and progress to SNT Level II.
