About the role
The Nursery Manager leads the educational, operational and cultural direction of the nursery. She ensures daily operations run smoothly while driving long‑term growth and high‑quality outcomes for children. The role involves close partnership with staff, parents and external stakeholders to maintain standards.
Key responsibilities
- Create a safe and stimulating environment that promotes learning.
- Update parents and carers on children’s progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet each child’s needs.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good condition.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children in a nursery setting.
- Proven experience supervising or managing staff.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
Required skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and support staff.
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making judgement.
- Organisational skills.
