Occupational Therapist – Full-Time On-Site, Dubai

About the role

A full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist position in Dubai provides client-centered assessment and intervention to help people improve functional independence in daily activities, work and school performance. The therapist works closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychologists, counsellors and physiotherapists, develops and implements individualized treatment plans, documents progress and contributes to case discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills and functional independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with DHA regulations and quality standards.
• Support high-quality care across clinical and home healthcare settings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid DHA license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Dubai, UAE.
• Native Arabic speaker with strong English communication skills.
• Proven clinical experience in Dubai, UAE, with knowledge of local healthcare standards and DHA regulations.
• Experience with pediatric and adult populations, including children, adolescents and adults with physical, developmental, neurological and mental health needs.
• Experience in mental health, neurodevelopmental disorders or holistic care settings is an advantage.
