Odoo Functional Consultant POS Implementation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant for an urgent Point of Sale implementation. The consultant will configure, validate and deliver an Odoo‑based POS solution, collaborating closely with business stakeholders to ensure functional requirements are met and tested.

Key responsibilities

• Configure Odoo POS for multiple store locations and terminals, including 50–80 products, categories, SKUs, variants and pricing.
• Set up inventory management, stock locations, receipts, adjustments and automatic stock deduction.
• Define VAT/tax rules, payment methods, receipts and transaction numbering.
• Configure user roles and access rights for cashiers, supervisors, inventory controllers and administrators.
• Implement cash opening/closing procedures and end‑of‑day reconciliation.
• Prepare and execute functional test scenarios and UAT, resolve configuration issues, and deliver end‑user training and documentation.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on Odoo POS implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Odoo Inventory and retail/POS business processes.
• Good understanding of cash management, VAT/tax configuration and reporting.
• Experience with user/security configuration and role‑based access.
• Ability to work independently and deliver within a tight timeline.
