Odoo Functional Consultant (Remote)

About the role

Synergy360, a UAE-based firm offering bookkeeping, audit and assurance, tax services and ERP solutions, is hiring a full-time remote Odoo Functional Consultant. The consultant implements and optimizes Odoo ERP solutions for clients, working closely with technical teams and advising clients on best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements and map processes to Odoo modules
• Configure and test system functionality, and support clients through deployment and post-implementation
• Prepare functional documentation and conduct user training
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations and customizations
• Advise clients on best practices, identify process-improvement opportunities and provide ongoing functional support

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or a related field preferred
• Basic to advanced finance knowledge to support accounting module configuration
• Prior experience with Odoo or similar ERP systems is highly beneficial
• Ability to work independently remotely, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Required skills

• Analytical skills: interpreting business data and turning requirements into functional solutions
• Excellent communication skills with clients, stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Consulting skills and experience in client-facing roles, including requirement gathering and solution design
• Solid understanding of business processes in finance, operations and supply chain
