Offset Printing Machine Operator – Heidelberg PM74

About the role

Virgo Packaging is seeking an experienced Offset Printing Machine Operator to run a Heidelberg PM74 press. The successful candidate will independently set up, operate, monitor and maintain the machine while delivering consistent print quality and efficient production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the Heidelberg PM74 offset printing machine.
• Set up the machine, mount plates and perform job changeovers.
• Adjust ink and colour, perform colour matching and ensure print registration.
• Monitor paper feeding, printing and delivery, reducing waste and maintaining efficiency.
• Troubleshoot printing or machine issues and perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Control registration and print quality against specifications and approved samples.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience operating a Heidelberg PM74 press.
• Strong knowledge of offset printing processes.
• Experience with colour matching and print registration.
• Ability to work independently and good troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and print quality.
• Preferred experience in packaging/printing production and UAE market.
