Offshore Material Coordinator

About the role

The Offshore Material Coordinator will lead the end‑to‑end materials management process for offshore projects, ensuring that all tools, equipment and consumables are available when needed from on‑shore preparation through offshore execution and demobilisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full materials lifecycle – from on‑shore preparation, offshore mobilisation, execution, to close‑out and demobilisation.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics and other internal teams to guarantee material availability.
• Maintain detailed inventory, tracking and delivery logs to achieve material readiness before mobilisation.
• Respond to AMR (Asset Management Requests) during offshore campaigns to sustain continuity.
• Implement and oversee material management procedures, including calibration record keeping and re‑certification of critical equipment.
• Prepare and authorise issuance notes, support Bag & Tag operations, and reconcile material inventories.
• Work with vendors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure compliant and timely deliveries.
• Track shipments, manage customs documentation, cargo planning and transportation to offshore sites.
• Conduct material reconciliation and manage the Return to Shore (RTS) process post‑campaign.

Required profile

• Diploma in a related discipline or equivalent.
• Certification in logistics or supply‑chain management.
• Valid Offshore Training certificate.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in material and logistics coordination, preferably in offshore environments.
