Offshore Structural Engineer

About the role

Technip Energies is seeking an Offshore Structural Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team. Reporting to the Head of Department, you will be involved in the design, analysis and engineering of offshore structures across all project phases, from concept to commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of offshore facilities such as jackets, topsides, deck structures, modules, flare towers, bridge‑linked platforms and subsea support structures.
• Prepare and review calculations, reports, drawings, material take‑offs and other engineering deliverables.
• Conduct transportation, lifting, load‑out, sea‑fastening and installation analyses, as well as fatigue, seismic, accidental‑load and pushover studies.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation and civil disciplines, and interface with clients, vendors, fabrication yards and installation contractors.
• Ensure compliance with API RP 2A, ISO 19902, DNV, AISC, Eurocodes and client specifications, supporting quality procedures and reviewing vendor documents.
• Deliver engineering activities within schedule and budget, identify technical risks and provide mitigation, and support offshore site surveys and field issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer status is preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Immediate availability (starting date ASAP).
