On The Job Trainee - Housekeeping

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site trainee position offers a hands‑on introduction to housekeeping operations within a luxury hotel environment. As part of Marriott’s Hotel Internship Program, you will experience daily hotel workflows and learn the standards that define Le Méridien’s guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the housekeeping team with room preparation, cleaning, and turnover tasks.
• Support inventory management of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
• Observe and follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
• Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to ensure timely room availability.
• Participate in training sessions on hotel standards and service excellence.

Required profile

• Current college or university student pursuing a degree related to hospitality, tourism, or a similar field.
• Strong interest in hotel operations and guest service.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and follow detailed instructions.
• Good communication skills in English.
