Oncology Pathway Coordinator

About the role

The Oncology Pathway Coordinator will oversee the coordination of clinical pathways for cancer patients, ensuring seamless care across multidisciplinary teams in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and sequence clinical pathways for cancer patients across multiple directorates and services.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, ensure agenda preparation, video‑conferencing support, and timely action‑plan distribution.
• Manage patient appointments, discharge planning, and communication of schedule changes to patients and families.
• Assess medical, emotional and social needs of patients and act as a liaison between patients and care providers.
• Handle non‑clinical queries from general practitioners and MDT members.
• Generate monthly reports for clinical governance and propose improvements to pathways and data collection.

Required profile

• UAE DHA license and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, with registration as a Registered Nurse in Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand or Australia.
• At least two years recent experience in a relevant oncology or cancer service environment.
• Active CPD, resuscitation certification and good computer proficiency.

Required skills

• Good computer knowledge.
• Resuscitation certification (basic life support).
