One Touch Service Officer (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach, a luxury five-star hotel in Jumeirah Beach Residence, is hiring a One Touch Service Officer who speaks Arabic. The officer handles guest requests and calls, coordinates with departments and keeps the front office running smoothly. The position is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Handle guest requests for internal services, including room service orders, and follow hotel standards and procedures.
• Answer and manage incoming calls, wake-up calls and messages using proper telephone etiquette.
• Coordinate with all departments and follow up on guest requests so guests receive excellent personal service.
• Report guest comments and complaints, resolve them with Sofitel techniques and inform department heads when matters are delayed.
• Respect guest privacy and confidentiality, and keep the workplace clean and tidy.
• Update requests in HotSos, Micros and Opera, and keep guest history and logbooks up to date.
• Set up inventory, monitor supplies and follow emergency and security procedures.
• Carry out administrative tasks, office coordination and filing, and be ready to take on other duties or move between departments.

Required profile

• Previous experience in guest services, reservations or front office preferred.
• Strong English communication; additional languages are an advantage.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Positive attitude and flexibility to meet business and guest service needs.

Required skills

• Proficiency in telephone systems and MS Office.
• PMS knowledge, with Opera preferred.
• Excellent customer service and a calm, clear phone manner.
