Operational Excellence Program Manager

About the role

Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation team is looking for an Operational Excellence Program Manager in Dubai to drive capacity optimization across our data centre fleet. You will lead retrofit initiatives, work closely with electrical engineers and field service teams, and help increase Infrastructure Utilization Effectiveness and Power Harvesting.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Regional Director and leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans with clear milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Establish governance processes to track commitments, risks, and dependencies, ensuring execution of leadership decisions across countries and data centres.
• Support executive communications by creating concise presentations and briefings that convey complex operational information.
• Coordinate cross‑functional alignment between regional leaders, country teams, and partner functions to ensure operational priorities are represented.
• Monitor regional KPIs and performance data, delivering insights that highlight trends, gaps, and opportunities for data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in senior‑level program or portfolio governance within complex operational environments.
• Proven ability to work with senior leadership, translating strategy into execution.
• Experience as an individual contributor with executive‑level exposure.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
