Operational Excellence Program Manager

About the role

Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) organization is looking for an Operational Excellence Program Manager to strengthen operational discipline, leadership alignment, communication, governance, and execution across its data‑center portfolio. The role works closely with regional leadership and functional stakeholders to translate strategy into measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Regional Director and leadership team to translate priorities into actionable plans, coordinate annual and quarterly planning, and support business reviews.
• Establish strong governance to track commitments, actions, risks, and dependencies, ensuring leadership decisions are executed and material risks are surfaced.
• Support executive communications by creating concise presentations, briefings, and updates for senior leaders.
• Serve as a coordination point between regional directors, country leaders, and partner functions to build cross‑functional alignment.
• Monitor regional KPIs and strategic initiatives, consolidating performance data into executive insights for data‑driven decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with industry experience.
• Experience in senior‑level program or portfolio governance roles within complex operational environments.
• Proven ability to work with senior leadership, translating strategy into execution.
• Experience operating as an individual contributor with executive‑level exposure.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.
