Operational & Financial Auditor – Corporate Services

About the role

The Operational & Financial Auditor will perform operational and financial audits in line with the annual audit plan, ensuring internal controls are effective, assets are protected, and information integrity is maintained across Al Futtaim Group.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Audit Manager in developing the annual audit plan by evaluating risk levels and creating audit programs in the Audit Management System (AMS).
• Conduct internal audits of business processes, review approval procedures, and verify compliance with Group policies and delegations of authority.
• Document audit work, prepare professional audit reports with findings and recommendations, and update the Audit Manager on key issues.
• Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and contribute to monthly summary reports for senior leadership.
• Utilise computer‑assisted audit techniques, including ACL, to expand audit coverage.
• Participate in special consulting assignments and fraud investigations as required.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIA, CFA) or MBA in Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in internal audit functions.
• Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards, internal controls and data‑analytics techniques.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and communicate findings clearly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with data‑analytics and auditing software, specifically ACL.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
