Operations Coordinator

About the role

IMGS Group is looking for an Operations Coordinator to support and coordinate day‑to‑day operations for its projects across the globe, with a focus on Africa‑based projects. The role involves coordinating project activities, logistics, personnel, equipment, travel and communication between teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operational activities for Africa projects, including personnel deployment, travel, accommodation and site requirements.
• Support project planning, scheduling and execution, and monitor project schedules providing regular updates.
• Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, agents, transporters and customers, and follow up on deliveries, transportation and other logistics activities.
• Monitor equipment, tools, materials and other project requirements, and maintain accurate project and operations records.
• Provide regular operations reports for management and ensure smooth communication between the office and project sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant operations or project coordination experience.
• Good coordination, multitasking, communication and problem‑solving skills; ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel when required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience in logistics, shipping, trading or project‑based environments (advantage).
