Operations Manager – Logistics

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead its logistics and transportation functions in Dubai. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics, transportation, and fleet activities.
• Plan and coordinate shipments, deliveries, and schedules.
• Manage drivers, warehouse staff, and operations teams.
• Monitor delivery timelines, route planning, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, transporters, and internal departments.
• Track shipments, resolve issues, and ensure proper documentation.
• Control operational costs and identify efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE transportation, safety, and logistics regulations.
• Prepare operational reports and update management regularly.
• Handle customer escalations and maintain high service quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, fleet, or operations management.
• Proven experience managing logistics teams and daily operations.
• Strong knowledge of UAE logistics and transportation processes.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Leadership and team‑management skills.
• UAE driving licence preferred; GCC experience advantageous.
