Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to work on site. The surgeon diagnoses and surgically treats conditions of the mouth, jaws, face and related structures, providing high-quality surgical and patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and surgically manage conditions of the mouth, jaws, face and oral structures
• Perform complex tooth extractions, including impacted wisdom teeth
• Manage facial trauma, jaw fractures and other maxillofacial injuries
• Perform corrective jaw surgery and other procedures within clinical expertise
• Treat oral cysts, tumors and infections requiring surgery
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide pre-operative assessments, post-operative care and follow-up
• Collaborate with dentists, orthodontists and other specialists
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold patient safety

Required profile

• BDS or equivalent dental degree
• MDS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery or an equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred
• Experience in dentoalveolar surgery, facial trauma management and maxillofacial procedures
