Organizational Development Specialist

About the role

Air Arabia Group is looking for an Organizational Development Specialist based in Sharjah, UAE. The role supports the design, delivery and implementation of OD and HR initiatives across all hubs and subsidiaries, ensuring they are standardized and aligned with business goals. It also contributes to policy development, capability building, talent and leadership development, and performance management.

Key responsibilities

• Work with line managers to recommend and run structured change management initiatives that standardize HR practice across hubs and subsidiaries.
• Help build OD frameworks, policies and tools for enterprise-wide capability building, leadership and high-potential development, and long-term talent planning.
• Help develop and maintain HR policies that are consistent, compliant and responsive to business needs and employee experience, and advise line managers on them.
• Introduce the Performance Management System and assessment process during new joiner orientation, and help implement and improve it across hubs while analysing performance data and promoting continuous feedback.
• Support hubs in the performance management process and help set up systems for job creation, job evaluation, organizational structure design and organizational change.
• Maintain an updated job description library and partner with line managers on career path mapping and development plans.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on succession planning and talent development, and deliver workshops and training on OD and HR topics.
• Carry out HR system activities and take part in HR and organization-wide projects.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor's degree in HR, Human Sciences, Management or an equivalent from a recognized university; MBA or CIPD qualification and HR professional certifications are an advantage.
• 4+ years as an organizational development specialist with similar responsibilities, preferably in aviation or hospitality, and overall 8+ years of HR experience.
• In-depth knowledge of HR functions and processes, and experience implementing performance management across levels and functions and analysing performance data.
