Packaging Designer – Creative Brand Packaging Role

About the role

Red Castle is seeking a talented Packaging Designer to shape the visual identity of our products. You will work closely with the brand manager and cross‑functional teams to create eye‑catching, market‑ready packaging that aligns with brand standards and consumer trends.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the manager to define consistent brand messaging and aesthetics across all packaging.
• Partner with product design, business, retail operations, marketing, and creative teams to gather requirements.
• Conceptualise and produce on‑brand, budget‑friendly designs that meet package and display specifications.
• Research consumer and market trends for packaging materials and conduct seasonal creative reviews.
• Prepare accurate, high‑quality artwork that adheres to brand standards and technical specs.
• Lead packaging projects from concept through launch, including new product introductions and packaging updates.
• Develop new retail packaging solutions in collaboration with design and leadership teams.
• Manage brainstorming sessions, sketching, prototyping, and project prioritisation.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of graphic design experience with a focus on packaging.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of the printing industry and packaging pre‑press processes.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.
• Knowledge of packaging pre‑press and printing industry standards.
