Paid Media Lead

About the role

STARZPLAY, a subscription streaming service operating across MENA, is looking for a Paid Media Lead to own the demand side of the business. You will manage paid media, affiliates and display inventory to drive both free‑tier growth and paid‑subscription conversions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end paid acquisition across Meta, Google (Search, Video, PMax, App), TikTok and Snapchat, building campaign structures for reach, trial, subscription and win‑back.
• Manage the programmatic estate via DV360, including deal curation, private marketplaces, viewability, brand safety and frequency.
• Lead affiliate and partner growth, handling recruitment, commercial terms, payout structures and performance monitoring.
• Control paid‑media budget, pacing, reallocation and commercial negotiations with platforms, agencies and partners.
• Ensure measurement integrity across pixels, server‑side events, MMPs and GA4, and run structured testing and incrementality studies.

Required profile

• 6‑7+ years of performance or paid‑media marketing experience, with hands‑on platform execution.
• Proven ownership of at least two pillars: paid social, paid search/programmatic, or affiliate/partner acquisition.
• Experience in subscription or recurring‑revenue consumer businesses and familiarity with CAC, payback, LTV and churn metrics.
• Hands‑on buying experience in MENA markets and understanding of Arabic‑speaking audiences.
• Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel/Sheets and ability to translate data into executive narratives.
