Painter – Commercial & Hospitality Projects

About the role

AccorHotel is seeking a skilled Painter to join its facilities team in Ras Al‑Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality interior and exterior painting work across hotel properties, ensuring surfaces meet exacting standards while maintaining a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute interior and exterior painting projects, including surface preparation, primer application, and final finishing.
• Perform wallpaper installation, plaster patching, caulking and other decorative finishing tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify wear‑and‑tear and implement preventative maintenance.
• Maintain and operate painting equipment safely, ensuring proper storage and upkeep.
• Document completed work, materials used, and any issues encountered.

Required profile

• Trade Certificate in Painting and Decorating or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven experience in commercial painting, preferably within hospitality or large‑scale facilities.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and fire‑life‑safety protocols for painting operations.
• Excellent physical stamina and ability to work at heights when required.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Surface preparation, sanding, cleaning and priming.
• Wallpaper application, plaster patching and caulking.
• Color matching, mixing and application across various surfaces.
• Operation and maintenance of painting tools and equipment.
• Adherence to health, safety and fire‑life‑safety standards.
