Painter

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Painter to join the maintenance team of our luxury hotels in Dubai. The role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all painted surfaces and related fixtures are kept in excellent condition.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate solutions promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets.
• Prepare surfaces, paint, and carry out minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs.
• Replace light bulbs, air‑conditioning filters, and other routine items.
• Conduct basic plumbing and electrical repairs, including unclogging drains and replacing switches or outlets.
• Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Program televisions and maintain inventory of housekeeping and engineering supplies.
• Repair interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.
• Document daily activities and hand over information to the next shift.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry systems.
• Ability to follow safety, security, and company policies.
• Professional appearance and commitment to confidentiality.
• Strong guest‑service orientation and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
