About the role

The Painter will join the Engineering & Facilities team at a luxury hotel in Dubai, providing guest‑focused repair and maintenance services. The role involves responding to guest requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all painted surfaces and minor repairs meet the hotel’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical equipment.
• Prepare surfaces, paint, and carry out minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs.
• Replace light bulbs, A/C filters and conduct thorough clean‑up after work.
• Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on electrical, plumbing and other equipment.
• Program televisions, manage inventory, and use lockout/tagout procedures before work.
• Repair interior and exterior landscaping, including sprinkler systems.
• Input schedules and temperature changes using basic computer systems.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, and maintain a professional appearance.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Ability to acquire additional technical knowledge as needed.
• Good communication skills for shift hand‑overs.
• Professional demeanor, confidentiality and guest‑service orientation.
