Part-Time Receptionist (Emiratized Role)

About the role

First Abu Dhabi Bank is looking for a part-time receptionist for its Emiratized role, based in Abu Dhabi. The position actively supports customers at FAB Business School and provides support to the Learning Team. The receptionist is the first face visitors meet, so a calm, courteous and professional demeanour is expected at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for external and internal persons, clients, prospects and FAB staff.
• Greet and handle all visitors and clients, and deal with initial client leads, information requests and complaints.
• Answer visitor questions about FAB Business School, direct visitors, sort mail, answer incoming calls on multi-line phones, set appointments, file documents, keep records, type data and perform other office tasks such as faxing or emailing.
• Keep the lobby tidy.
• May carry out access control duties: verify employee and client identification, issue visitor passes and report suspicious persons or activities.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports as required.
• Follow FAB policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

• Ability to work within a team and build professional relationships.
• Good track record of performance.
• Knowledge of locations within the UAE.
• Good administration skills.
• Strong character, good manners and discretion; able to handle difficult personalities without aggression.
• Presentable, self-motivated and able to cope with a busy, multi-tasking environment.
• University degree preferably in business, languages, economics or marketing.
