Part-Time Social Media & Video Content Specialist

About the role

An international media company is looking for an experienced Social Media & Video Content Specialist to join on a part-time basis, with the possibility of growing into a larger, long-term role. The position combines social media expertise, professional video editing and motion graphics skills, and an understanding of business, media and political content.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage engaging content for LinkedIn, Instagram and other relevant social media platforms.
• Edit and produce short-form video content such as Reels, interviews, event highlights, executive interviews and social media clips.
• Transform long-form interviews, events and existing media assets into engaging short-form content.
• Create professional motion graphics, animations, transitions, subtitles and visual effects using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Develop creative concepts and formats designed to increase engagement and reach.
• Adapt content to different platforms, audiences and formats while keeping brand consistency.
• Work on live events and content produced across Latin America and other international markets, which may occasionally require working late hours if based in Europe or early hours if based in Latin America.

Required profile

• Fluent or native-level English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Proven experience creating and managing social media content.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines.
• Flexible availability and willingness to work outside standard hours for live events.
• A strong portfolio showing previous social media, video editing and motion graphics work.

Required skills

• Professional experience with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory).
• Strong professional video editing skills.
• Highly valued: media and communications, business media, political content, journalism or editorial, corporate communications, international events, executive interviews, B2B and LinkedIn-focused social media.
