Part-time Structural Engineering Manager (Hybrid, Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a part-time Structural Engineering Manager to join our Dubai team in a hybrid setting. You will lead a group of engineers and designers, ensuring high-quality structural solutions that meet local and international codes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and evaluate a team of structural engineers and designers.
• Oversee planning, analysis and design of structures, reviewing calculations and drawings.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors and clients to align technical requirements, schedules and budgets.
• Manage project timelines, allocate resources and support integration of engineering software tools.
• Ensure quality control, constructability and compliance with Dubai/UAE regulations and international codes.
• Drive continuous improvement of processes, standards and workflow automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional registration or chartered status (e.g., PE, CEng) preferred.
• Proven experience leading multiple structural projects in a hybrid environment.
• Strong project-management and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Middle-East construction context is advantageous.

Required skills

• Extensive experience with structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards (ACI, AISC, Eurocodes, Dubai/UAE regulations).
• Understanding of software development and integration concepts for engineering tools.
