Part‑time Remote Interior Designer

About the role

This part‑time remote Interior Designer role supports project teams by delivering interior design solutions that meet client objectives and adhere to project management principles. The designer will create functional and aesthetic space plans, choose appropriate finishes and materials, and produce construction and interior design drawings. Collaboration with project managers and consultants ensures designs are on budget, meet quality standards, and are delivered efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed space plans and layout concepts.
• Select finishes, materials, and colour schemes that align with design intent.
• Prepare accurate construction and interior design drawings.
• Coordinate FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) specifications and procurement.
• Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary consultants.
• Review design documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Participate in virtual client meetings and present design proposals.
• Deliver clear documentation and organized digital files for project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven skills in interior design and space planning with a focus on functional, aesthetic layouts.
• Strong knowledge of architecture and construction drawing standards.
• Experience selecting and coordinating FF&E within budget and design constraints.
• Excellent digital design capabilities using CAD/BIM, 3D visualization, and presentation software.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for remote, cross‑functional collaboration.
• Relevant education in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
