About the role
Assist in the preparation and service of food, preparing mise‑en‑place for the outlets as required and adhering to food preparation and presentation guidelines to ensure consistent quality for guests.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare mise‑en‑place for outlets and ensure food presentation meets standards.
- Maintain clean and hygienic working areas, following food safety and protection protocols.
- Participate in departmental training and assist at events, banquets and other functions.
- Adhere to personal hygiene, fire safety, health and safety rules.
Required profile
- Basic cake decorating, piping, glazing and dessert plating skills.
- Knowledge of baking techniques and operation of pastry equipment.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, sanitation (HACCP) and food storage, stock rotation and waste control.
- Food Handler or Food Safety Certificate.
