Patient Admin Executive

About the role

The Patient Admin Executive is the first point of contact for patients visiting Deira Medical Center. This role ensures smooth patient flow, accurate record‑keeping, and timely financial processing while upholding the centre’s standards of care and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, direct them to appropriate departments and provide routine hospital information.
• Handle telephone inquiries, relay messages to doctors or nurses, and manage appointment scheduling, including rescheduling and confirming bookings.
• Register new patients, maintain up‑to‑date records, and manage patient‑related documentation.
• Explain medical insurance coverage, collect co‑payments, and provide claim forms for reimbursement.
• Process daily cash, credit‑card, and cheque deposits, ensuring accurate end‑of‑shift reconciliation.
• Maintain working knowledge of the Hospital Information System, clinic schedules, and doctor rosters.
• Respond to emails promptly, handle complaints professionally, and ensure adherence to hospital policies.
• Generate and process patient invoices, issue bills, and assist patients in understanding charges and payment options.
• Support quality‑improvement initiatives and comply with NMC and JCI regulations.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and high standards of data accuracy.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.
• Ability to follow hospital policies, infection‑control protocols, and quality‑assurance procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, staff, and management.
• Willingness to participate in training programs and continuous improvement activities.
