Patient Admin Executive (UAEN)

About the role

Speciality Hospital Al Ain is looking for a Patient Admin Executive for its UAEN branch. The role covers welcoming patients, registration, appointment management, insurance and billing, and supporting the front desk and back office. It involves shifts and follows the hospital's policies, infection control and patient safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, direct them to the right departments and give routine information about the hospital.
• Handle telephone inquiries and pass information to doctors or nurses for callbacks.
• Manage appointments, including no-shows, rescheduling and confirmations.
• Register new patients and keep current patient records up to date.
• Explain medical insurance coverage, collect co-payments and issue claim forms for reimbursement.
• Generate and process patient invoices for consultations, treatments and diagnostic tests, record charges accurately and issue bills for outstanding balances.
• Facilitate daily cash collection, credit card slips and cheque deposits, following finance protocols.
• Maintain working knowledge of the hospital information system, clinic hours, appointment durations, doctor rosters and booking procedures.
• Check emails daily, handle complaints professionally and respect patient and staff confidentiality.
• Follow the duty roster, attend training programmes, support quality improvement and keep the reception area clean and safe.

Required profile

• College diploma or graduate degree, any discipline or related field.
• 1 year as a trainee receptionist preferred.
• Active, pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English; Arabic desirable but not mandatory.
