Patient Administration Executive

About the role

The Patient Administration Executive ensures smooth front‑desk operations, supports patients throughout their visit, and handles all administrative and billing tasks in a busy hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients to the appropriate departments, providing routine information about the hospital.
• Answer telephone inquiries, relay messages to doctors or nurses, and manage appointment scheduling, including rescheduling and confirming appointments.
• Register new patients, maintain up‑to‑date records, and verify insurance eligibility.
• Provide insurance coverage information, collect co‑payments, and process claim forms for reimbursements.
• Handle daily cash, credit‑card, and cheque collections, ensuring accurate end‑of‑shift processing.
• Generate and process patient invoices, issue bills, and assist patients in understanding charges and payment options.
• Maintain confidentiality, adhere to hospital policies, and follow infection‑control and patient‑safety regulations.
• Respond to emails and complaints promptly, contributing to continuous quality improvement.

Required profile
