People Partner Trainee – Emiratisation

About the role

Join Chalhoub Group as a People Partner Trainee and gain hands‑on exposure to the full employee journey. You will work closely with People Partners, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Operations and line managers, supporting recruitment, onboarding, engagement and UAE National initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support coordination between Talent Acquisition, People Partners and line managers throughout recruitment activities.
• Assist in interviews and recruitment discussions to understand the hiring process.
• Guide new joiners through onboarding and follow up on required activities.
• Participate in store visits and employee check‑ins to capture first‑hand experience.
• Build relationships with UAE National associates, gather feedback and support regular follow‑ups.
• Maintain trainee progress records, employee information trackers and simple reports.
• Contribute ideas to strengthen employee experience and the UAE National community.

Required profile

• UAE National with a Family Book.
• Genuine interest in Human Resources, People & Culture and employee experience.
• Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with diverse stakeholders.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn and openness to coaching and feedback.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Creative mindset with confidence to propose new ideas.
