Pet Taxi Driver for Veterinary Practice

About the role

We are seeking a reliable driver to operate our pet taxi service for Groomy, a veterinary practice offering daycare, boarding, physiotherapy, grooming and retail services in Abu Dhabi. The driver will ensure safe and comfortable transportation of pets between the clinic, clients’ homes and other locations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the pet taxi and surrounding areas.
• Ensure the vehicle complies with UAE regulations and is safe for animal transport.
• Transport animals to and from the clinic, day‑care, boarding and other destinations, safeguarding their wellbeing.
• Deliver e‑commerce orders under the direction of the admin team.
• Use positive reinforcement techniques to manage animal behavior during trips.
• Provide regular updates on the condition of animals during and after transport.
• Offer basic care such as water and monitoring during journeys.
• Assist the team with boarding, daycare and other tasks when needed.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to foster a teamwork‑oriented environment.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of professional driving experience.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of UAE roads and traffic regulations.
• Fluent English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in the UAE veterinary market or with animal handling is preferred.
