Petroleum Products Storage Inspectors

About the role

BlackStone eIT is looking for experienced Petroleum Products Storage Inspectors to ensure safe and compliant storage of petroleum products. The role involves regular inspections, reporting hazards, and collaborating with facility managers and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of storage terminals, tanks, pipelines, manifolds and pump systems.
• Verify compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and company policies.
• Identify and report safety hazards, operational inefficiencies and environmental risks.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with facility management to resolve findings promptly.
• Stay updated on changes in petroleum storage regulations and best practices.
• Assist in emergency response planning and incident investigations.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience inspecting petroleum product storage facilities.
• Diploma in Mechanical, Petroleum or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

Required skills

• Inspection of aboveground and underground tanks (AST/UST).
• Pipeline and manifold inspection.
• Pump system and fuel terminal inspection.
• Fire suppression, overfill protection and leak detection equipment inspection.
