Physical Education Teacher – Abdulla Bin Otaiba Charter School (2026/27)

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for an enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher for Abdulla Bin Otaiba Charter School in Abu Dhabi for the 2026/27 academic year. The role involves delivering engaging PE lessons that inspire all students to achieve their best.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Physical Education lessons for a mixed‑gender primary class, catering for the full ability range.
• Assess and record student progress using the Target Tracker system and provide feedback to parents at conferences.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop curriculum‑aligned lessons and participate in curriculum action groups.
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment, following the school’s behaviour policy.
• Organise and lead weekly extra‑curricular activities and school events, including outings and weekend activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is not the first language.
• Clean enhanced DBS/police check and willingness to reside in the Emirate of the school.
