Physics Teacher (American Curriculum)

About the role

An education provider in Abu Dhabi is looking for a qualified Physics Teacher to deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Physics instruction. The ideal candidate has experience teaching Physics in an American Curriculum school, strong subject knowledge and recognized teaching credentials. Applicants must currently live in the UAE; those living outside the UAE are not eligible.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Physics lessons aligned with curriculum requirements and learning objectives.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, assignments and assessments.
• Explain scientific concepts through practical examples, demonstrations and classroom activities.
• Maintain an effective classroom environment and monitor student progress, giving constructive feedback.
• Assess student performance and keep accurate academic records.
• Encourage critical thinking, scientific inquiry and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum delivery and academic development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related subject.
• Recognized teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching Physics in an American Curriculum school.
• IELTS score of 7.0 or above, or the ability to meet the English requirement within an agreed timeframe.
• Currently residing in the UAE.

What we offer

• Monthly salary of AED 11,000 to 12,000.
