About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher to join GEMS Winchester School in Fujairah starting August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver the British international curriculum, inspire curiosity and develop scientific thinking among students.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons across IGCSE and A‑Level programmes.
- Design an inclusive curriculum aligned with International British standards.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback and support individual learning needs.
- Maintain a safe laboratory environment and manage equipment and resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Physics with cross‑subject initiatives.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of teaching experience in a British‑curriculum school.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Physics (minimum three‑year programme).
- Familiarity with the IGCSE/A‑Level curriculum (preferred).
- Strong communication skills in an English‑speaking environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency in delivering the National Curriculum for England.
- Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment safely.
