Physiotherapist

About the role

The Royal Khalifa City Hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join its multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. You will work directly with patients of all ages, helping them recover from illness, injury, surgery or chronic conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients to identify physical problems and develop individualized treatment programmes.
• Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and ultrasound interventions.
• Support patients with joint, spinal and post‑surgical rehabilitation, as well as recovery after accidents, strokes or sports injuries.
• Supervise and mentor physiotherapy assistants and aides.
• Maintain accurate patient case notes, statistical records and report adverse clinical events.
• Educate patients and carers on injury prevention and self‑management.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, quality‑management activities and continuous‑education programmes.
• Ensure equipment is well maintained and coordinate ordering of supplies.

Required profile

• Registered physiotherapist committed to professional ethics and evidence‑based practice.
• Experience delivering musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular or respiratory rehabilitation.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with staff, patients and families.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and quality‑improvement initiatives.
