About the role
The Picker in the MAF Retail e‑commerce division consolidates orders from the put‑away area, picks items from shelves, checks expiry dates and scans each product. The role ensures orders are accurate, complete and prepared according to company standards.
Key responsibilities
- Pick orders by scanning each item and performing quality‑control checks.
- Verify that all picked goods comply with the expiry‑date policy.
- Confirm out‑of‑stock situations with the responsible section.
- Provide feedback to fellow pickers when incorrect items are selected or product quality does not meet standards.
- Keep the put‑away area organized, moving unused trolleys and crates to storage.
- Maintain goods in proper locations and ensure they remain in good condition.
- Ensure all put‑away locations and crates have scannable barcodes.
- Report any anomalies such as wrong product images, incorrect locations or picking‑system issues to the line manager.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of experience in e‑commerce operations or online retail.
- Retail online business experience is a plus.
