Piping Supervisor – ADNOC Project

About the role

The Piping Supervisor will lead the piping construction team on the ADNOC project in Abu Dhabi, ensuring all fabrication, installation, testing and hand‑over activities meet ADNOC standards, project schedules and budget constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise foremen, welders, pipefitters, riggers, helpers, subcontractors and vendor personnel.
• Coordinate piping fabrication, spool erection, valve and support installation, equipment connections, tie‑ins, testing and reinstatement.
• Review piping isometrics, P&IDs, layouts, material specifications and support drawings.
• Plan daily activities and secure manpower, materials, tools, permits, scaffolding and lifting resources.
• Monitor progress, productivity, manpower utilization and schedule compliance.
• Verify pipe routing, slope, elevation, flange alignment, valve direction and internal cleanliness.
• Manage welding, NDT, PWHT, RFIs, inspections and repairs with the QA/QC team.
• Support hydro‑testing, pneumatic testing, flushing, leak testing, drying and test‑package close‑out.
• Ensure proper material identification, storage, segregation and issuance.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, HSE, commissioning and other disciplines to resolve site issues.
• Enforce subcontractor compliance with safety, quality, productivity, schedule and cost requirements.
• Participate in HSE meetings, toolbox talks, risk assessments and daily inspections.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, manpower forecasts, look‑ahead schedules and recovery plans.
• Assist with punch‑list clearance, mechanical completion, system hand‑over and final documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering.
• 5–10 years of piping construction experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery or EPC projects.
• At least five years of direct field‑construction experience.
• Experience with a major international EPC or E&C contractor.
