Planning Engineer – Project Scheduling (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

KAEFER is seeking four Planning Engineers to join its Abu Dhabi sites. The role focuses on developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and supporting multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery of large‑scale engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and update detailed project schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with site, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Assist in resource allocation and manpower planning.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Support planning activities to meet milestones and deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in project planning or engineering.
• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary site and project teams.

Required skills

• Primavera P6 (experience preferred but not mandatory).
