Planning Manager – High‑Rise Building Project

About the role

The Planning Manager will lead the project control function for a high‑rise development in Dubai, ensuring the Master Programme is robust, contractually sound and supports proactive decision‑making. Reporting to the Project Director, you will be the authority on schedule status, forensic delay analysis and resource optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Strategic Programming – develop and maintain the baseline schedule integrating structural, MEP, façade and fit‑out sequences.
• Forensic Delay Analysis – identify delays and prepare Time Impact and As‑Built vs. As‑Planned analyses to support EOT claims.
• Risk Management – run What‑If scenarios and Monte Carlo simulations to forecast milestone achievement probabilities.
• Executive Reporting – convert Primavera P6 data into high‑level dashboards for senior stakeholders.
• Resource Management – validate labour and machinery plans against schedule requirements.
• Contractual Protection – ensure timely formal notices of delay in line with FIDIC or relevant contracts.
• Inter‑departmental Liaison – coordinate procurement, engineering and site teams to eliminate bottlenecks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 12–15 years total construction experience, including 10 years in planning/project controls and at least 5 years in the UAE/GCC.
• 3–5 years experience as a Planning Manager on iconic high‑rise (30+ floors) projects.
• Proven ability to lead forensic planning and claims support teams.
