Planning Manager – Super High‑Rise Towers

About the role

Azizi Developments is seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead planning and scheduling for its high‑rise and super high‑rise tower projects (G+60+). You will own the full planning cycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet contractual milestones.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain master baseline programmes for towers (G+50 and above) using Primavera P6.
• Prepare detailed Level 1‑5 schedules covering design, procurement, construction, MEP, façade, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Define critical paths, key milestones and interface points across disciplines and subcontractors.
• Plan vertical construction sequencing, including core walls, slab cycles, formwork, tower cranes, hoists and high‑pressure concrete pumping.
• Track progress against baseline, produce weekly/monthly reports, S‑curves, look‑ahead programmes and dashboards.
• Conduct delay analysis (Time Impact, Windows, As‑Planned vs As‑Built) and prepare Extension of Time submissions.
• Support commercial team on variations, claims and time‑related contractual matters under FIDIC.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years of construction planning experience, including at least 5 years in a senior planning or Planning Manager role.
• Proven experience on super high‑rise tower projects (300 m+ or G+60 floors) in the GCC.
• Strong knowledge of super high‑rise construction methods, structural cycles, MEP and façade sequencing.
• Experience with Dubai authority approvals and local project environments is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Competence with MS Project and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI (advantage).
• Strong command of delay analysis methods and EOT preparation.
• Understanding of FIDIC contract conditions.
