Planning Project Manager

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for a Planning Project Manager in Dubai to oversee project planning, scheduling and progress monitoring for construction projects. The role ensures that timelines, budgets and resources are managed efficiently while staying compliant with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent software, including milestones, critical paths and deliverables
• Track progress, prepare status reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders, and run regular performance reviews and variance analysis
• Identify risks and delays and propose mitigation strategies
• Allocate resources efficiently and work with commercial and procurement teams to align schedules with cost plans
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting project timelines and costs
• Liaise with project managers, contractors, consultants and clients, attend project meetings and keep stakeholders informed of schedule changes
• Ensure compliance with contractual, legal and regulatory requirements and follow HSE, sustainability and quality standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in construction planning, including at least 5 years in a managerial role
• Experience in high-rise, infrastructure or large-scale commercial projects
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project and other planning tools
• Understanding of FIDIC contracts and UAE construction regulations
• Knowledge of Lean Construction and Value Engineering
• Data analysis and reporting tools
