PMC Material Management Specialist

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Material Management Specialist to lead materials management for offshore construction projects supporting ADNOC in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring timely availability of materials, equipment and consumables while maintaining compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide PMC leadership and oversight of offshore materials management activities, aligning with project specifications and schedules.
• Act as the focal point for offshore materials control, coordinating with procurement, logistics, construction and project controls teams.
• Monitor inventory levels, shortages, surpluses and critical items, identifying risks and mitigation actions.
• Review and endorse contractor deliverables related to material control procedures, logistics plans and offshore load‑out schedules.
• Support offshore construction teams by resolving material‑related issues that could impact productivity or schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant offshore/onshore oil & gas experience, including at least 5 years in the GCC region.
• Proven experience in PMC roles and offshore materials management, preferably with ADNOC projects.
• Strong knowledge of international codes, standards and HSE requirements.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
