PMC Permit Issuance Supervisor

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Permit Issuance Supervisor to lead the Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) process for ADNOC Onshore projects in Abu Dhabi. The role is based on‑site and ensures that all work activities are authorised, coordinated and carried out safely in line with ADNOC’s Work Management System and UAE HSE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and control the PTW process for all on‑shore project activities.
• Coordinate with ADNOC Area Authorities, Asset Approval Authorities, job performers and construction teams to manage simultaneous high‑risk tasks.
• Verify that work permits are issued in accordance with approved procedures and project specifications.
• Monitor compliance with ADNOC Work Management System (WMS) and UAE HSE requirements.
• Provide guidance and oversight to Permit Issuers and maintain accurate permit records.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, preferably on large on‑shore projects.
• Proven ability to supervise multi‑disciplinary teams in a high‑risk environment.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC’s PTW procedures and UAE HSE standards.

Required skills

• Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) process management.
• Familiarity with ADNOC Work Management System (WMS).
• Understanding of UAE health, safety and environment (HSE) regulations.
