PMC Project Controls Lead

About the role

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMC Project Controls Lead to drive planning, scheduling, budgeting and progress monitoring for a high‑profile client in the energy sector. You will ensure that project objectives are met efficiently, on time and within cost constraints while supporting Wood’s commitment to sustainable energy transitions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and cost baselines.
• Monitor project progress, identify variances and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare regular performance reports for senior management and client stakeholders.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to align project controls activities.
• Support risk and issue management related to schedule and budget.

Required profile

• Proven track record in project controls within large, complex oil & gas or energy projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with client and internal teams.
• Relevant degree or professional certification in engineering, project management or related field.
