Pool Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Pool Technician to ensure the day‑to‑day maintenance and operation of all swimming pools, spas and associated equipment at our luxury hotel. The role guarantees water quality, safety and cleanliness while delivering a positive guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain pool water chemistry by testing and balancing pH, chlorine, and other chemical levels in accordance with health regulations.
• Perform daily inspections of pools, spas, and surrounding areas to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and safety.
• Clean pools, spas, filters, and pool decks regularly, including vacuuming, skimming, and brushing.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and dosing systems.
• Maintain accurate records of water quality tests, maintenance activities, and chemical usage.
• Respond promptly to guest or management requests related to pool areas and ensure timely resolution.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with local health codes and hotel standards.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Housekeeping departments for any concerns related to pool area maintenance or cleanliness.
