PR & Communication Officer

About the role

The PR & Communication Officer will lead the development and execution of executive thought‑leadership, media placement and public profile strategies for senior leadership. This role blends strategic auditing, brand asset creation, proactive media pitching and securing high‑profile speaking opportunities across regional and global platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct onboarding interviews and audits to create comprehensive executive communication strategies and digital presence reviews.
• Design and produce executive media kits, headshots and other brand assets.
• Develop 12‑month media roadmaps, pitch angles and rolling 3‑month campaign plans targeting Tier 1 and Tier 2 outlets.
• Craft key messages, Q&As and deliver media training for executives.
• Manage inbound and outbound media pitching to achieve 8‑12 high‑tier coverage placements annually.
• Ghostwrite op‑eds, bylined articles and press releases to position executives as industry experts.
• Identify and secure speaking slots, panel roles and podcast appearances at major summits and events.
• Prepare briefing notes, talking points and monitor coverage, providing mitigation advice when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building executive thought‑leadership and managing media placement strategies.
• Strong understanding of Tier 1 and Tier 2 media landscapes in the Middle East and global markets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for senior leaders.
