PR KOL Specialist - MENA

About the role

Binance, a global blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency exchange, is looking for an experienced Senior KOL Relations Specialist. The role takes ownership of KOL partnerships end-to-end, from identifying and engaging high-impact influencers to leading event coordination and managing sensitive communications, while maintaining a positive public perception of the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and manage relationships with high-impact KOLs aligned with brand values and business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end KOL event planning and execution, including brand activations, networking events and partnership meetings.
• Serve as the main liaison between the company and KOLs, keeping communication timely, professional and relationship-driven.
• Manage crisis communications involving KOLs, acting as a calm and strategic point of contact.
• Develop and deliver structured reports on KOL performance, campaign impact and public sentiment trends.
• Partner with Marketing, Growth and Compliance to align KOL strategies with broader PR and business goals.
• Represent the company professionally at industry events, media engagements and KOL-facing activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in KOL/influencer relations, PR or partnerships, preferably in tech, fintech or consumer brands.
• Proven ability to manage KOL portfolios independently from sourcing to activation.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong relationship-building skills, comfort representing the brand externally and on camera, and good crisis management instincts.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of or interest in crypto/blockchain is a plus but not mandatory.
